To mark the publication of the trade paperback for The Dark Lord’s Handbook: Conquest, I will be giving away two copies of the book through Goodreads. Head over there for a chance to win one of the two copies. Open worldwide.
The 2nd edition paperback of The Dark Lord’s Handbook is now available on Amazon and should be in wider distribution soon. It is produced by Createspace and so I have been able to reduce the costs to the reader considerably. In due course, I will remove from sale the Lulu first edition.
I know from the messages I get, there are readers keen to read of Morden’s further adventures and I have to thank you for your patience. These things seem to have a habit of dragging out, especially when you have to do most of the work yourself. The Tantor deal, and producing a new edition for the paperback, which will be cheaper thanks to Createspace, took a chunk of my time. The sequel is also quite a bit longer than the first book, with so much going on in it. I hope it’s worth the wait.
The manuscript has just been sent for a final polish. I aim to have the book on sale by the end of September. The Createspace paperback should be out by the end of October.
Before then, I will be doing a full cover reveal for the new book, so watch this space.
This week the 4th edition of The Dark Lord’s Handbook for the Kindle went live. For me, it is part of the ongoing process to deliver the best book I can. If I notice something in the book which could be improved, or suspect a fresh set of eyes may see those things, then I am happy to invest some time and money to make it better.
I sent the manuscript off to Incandescent Phoenix Books and they returned a more polished version. The language was smoothed out here and there, and I also added a little clarification on points of detail where needed.
The Smashwords version was updated as well. A 2nd Edition paperback has been created on Createspace and I am awaiting the proof. It should go live in the next week or so.
